Zero Waste Articles

  • Zero Waste means we share a vision for the future that's good for people, the planet and profits.

  • Cleaning house can be really hard on the environment, often resulting in toxic chemicals in our sewer lines and piles of unwanted items destined for the landfill. Fortunately, there are better ways of tackling clean ups. With a little planning and some of the ideas on this website, you can avoid the last minute panic that often leads to poor choices.

  • 1. Reduce your consumption - everything we purchase has social, economic and environmental consequences.
    2. Buy local, organically grown food wherever possible.
    3. Stop using pesticides.
    4. Mulch, mulch, mulch.
    5. Take a walk instead of the car.
    6. Get involved in your community.
