Stage 2 water restrictions are in effect for the Thornhill and North Terrace water systems until further notice.
As the weather gets warmer, we naturally use more water.
This is why we ask residents to reduce their water usage for non-essentials in warmer weather. It helps us to manage our water supply as more water is used.
Stage 2 water restrictions are:
Permitted
- Watering gardens and lawns by hand
Not Permitted
- Using irrigation or sprinklers to water lawns and domestic gardens
- Filling or adding water to swimming pools
- Washing exterior surfaces of buildings, driveways, patios or other hard landscape surfaces
