Reminder! User fees for utilities operated by the RDKS (water, solid waste, and sewer) are billed semi-annually in January and June for flat rate users, and billed quarterly for the Thornhill Water System.
Bills are due by December 31, 2025.
If you haven't paid your outstanding utilities balance, you can do so by:
- Cheque
- Visa™ or Mastercard™ in person at the RDKS office or by phone
- Debit in person at the RDKS office
- At most financial institutions via online banking, account name is "Kitimat-Stikine RD Utilities", and your account # format is 00XXXXXXXXX
Please note, any remaining unpaid balances will be transferred to your property tax balance.
**The RDKS office will be closed for the holidays from December 22 - 26, but will be open regular hours on December 29, 30, and 31. **
