The RDKS and the City of Terrace are hosting the first Pumpkin Smash!
Come down to Ferry Island on Saturday, November 8th and help us (safely) smash the pumpkins left over from the Terrace Community Garden's Jack O' Lantern Festival (Pumpkin Walk).
Learn more about why it's so important to keep organics out of the landfill by helping us get the pumpkins ready for the compost pile. You're welcome to bring your own pumpkins, too!
**This a FREE community event with donations to the Terrace Community Garden accepted.**
Take part in a wide range of activities:
- Multiple pumpkin smashing stations
- Kids craft station
- Story walk with the Terrace Public Library
- Haunted house playground
- Hot beverages for purchase from The Fix
- Food for purchase from Redneck Kitchen (weather depending)
