NEXT STEPS
Note: Only applications who are deemed as qualifying for the PNP Regional Pilot Program in the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine will be contacted.

After the initial assessment of the application, the foreign entrepreneur will be asked to present their business idea to the community’s designated contact person via a virtual platform such as Zoom. If the business idea fits within the Regional District’s key sectors, then the contact person may offer a letter of invitation for an exploratory visit to the applicant. The exploratory visit allows the applicant to visit the community to refine the business plan further and see if the chosen Electoral Area is indeed the place to call home!

Post exploratory visit, if the business still is deemed by all parties to be a good fit for the selected Electoral Area, then the contact person may prepare a referral form for submission as part of the applicant’s BC PNP registration with the Province.
